David is a writer, director and producer of independent films in Chicago. He started Fork the Man Productions to create films and connect independent filmmakers in Chicago. Bradburn’s films include “Superhero Me”, a finalist in the 2012 Beverly Hills Film Fest Writing Competition, and the soon to be finished “The Coming of Age” which was written by Northwestern University’s Film Department Chair, Dave Tolchinsky. Bradburn’s successful launch into Chicago’s independent film community most recently landed him assignments with Kenmore and FOX.
Kiea Houseton was raised on Chicago’s south side before moving to the western suburbs. She received her Theatre degree from Bradley University as well as an advanced degree in Education from Aurora University. Her favorite experiences include: directing and producing numerous children’s plays and talent showcases through various school districts, the Peoria Park Players traveling troupe, assistant producing Beauty and the Beast at the Paramount Theatre. She is excited to bring her skill set to the production of Through Air & Water.
Jon holds an Emmy nomination for producing and directing the documentary“Mound Bayou: Jewel of the Delta” which was also nominated a for the “Black Excellence Award” by the African American Arts Alliance of Chicago. He is currently producing/directing the documentary “The Lost Shepherd” about the unknown civil rights leader, Dr. T R M Howard. In addition to his film credits, he also long history in theater as an actor. Along with his producing partner, John H. Rogers III, he produces films under the JR2 Films banner.
Jose A. Santiago, Jr. is a Latin American actor of Mexican and Puerto Rican descent. Santiago is enjoying his first season as Diablo, leader of the Spanish Angels and head of the drug trafficking, in the television series Chiraq (2015). He is also known for his role as the Dentist Dad in the featured film Sinister 2 (2015). Santiago also played Manny, a Puerto Rican crime boss, in the independent feature film, The Land, Detective Franco in Orphans of God, KC, Henchman, in Night Thrasher and FBI Agent Santino in School for Gods. He has been awarded the Key to the City from Hammond, IN and Citizens Assisting Police Award from Indiana State Fraternal Order of Police.
Preston Tate Jr. is a member of SAG-AFTRA & AEA. In his career, he has appeared in various television shows such as Chicago Fire, Shameless, Sirens and Detroit 187, along with multiple national commercials and several feature films that have appeared in theatres across the country. Preston Jr. is also a critically-acclaimed actor in the world of theatre for his performances in Superior Donuts and Heat Wave, under the banners of the famous Mary-Arrchie and Steppenwolf Theatre. When not working on the craft of acting, he’s advancing in his career as a trader in the stock market, as well as making sure to enjoy quality time with friends and family.
